PINEBROOK GALLERYでは、2026年9月12日（土）より、BAKIBAKIとMon Koutaro Ooyama（MON）によるライブペインティングデュオ「DOPPEL」の展覧会、DOPPEL EXHIBITION “SESSIONS” を開催いたします。

2001年に結成され、2026年で25周年を迎えるDOPPEL。

「個人でも社会でもない、“二人”という最小単位における表現の追求」をコンセプトに、日本のライブペインティングカルチャーを牽引してきました。

近年は、味園ユニバースでの大型壁画制作をはじめ、互いの抽象化された造形美を偶発的に生み出していく、初期の “SESSION” スタイルへと回帰。

結成から四半世紀。
25年という時間を経た今、再び二人の間から生まれる“SESSION”と、その現在形をご覧いただける展覧会です。

初日の9月12日（土）には、OPENING LIVE PAINTを開催。

二人の表現がその場で交差し、呼応し、ひとつの作品へと立ち上がっていく——。

PINEBROOK GALLERY is pleased to present DOPPEL EXHIBITION “SESSIONS,” opening on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

DOPPEL is a live painting duo formed in 2001 by BAKIBAKI and Mon Koutaro Ooyama (MON), and 2026 marks their 25th anniversary.

With the concept of exploring expression through “two people” — the smallest unit that is neither an individual nor society — DOPPEL has played a leading role in shaping Japan’s live painting culture.

In recent years, following projects including a large-scale mural at Misono Universe, the duo has returned to its early “SESSION” style, in which their abstract visual languages spontaneously interact and generate new forms.

A quarter century after their formation, this exhibition revisits the creative impulse at the origin of DOPPEL, while presenting the current evolution of their ongoing “SESSION.”

On the opening day, Saturday, September 12, an OPENING LIVE PAINT will take place at the gallery.

Witness the moment when two distinct visual languages intersect, respond to one another, and gradually develop into a single work.
