大阪を拠点に鉄素材を中心に板金・溶接・造形技術を駆使した立体作品を長年に渡り創り出す、メタルアーティストGRAND COBRAによる、ソロ作品展が実現。

1972年生まれ大阪府出身 鉄素材を中心に板金・溶接・造形技術を駆使した立体作品を制作、変幻自在に鉄を操り、インスピレーションをアイアンでイメージに変えるメタルアーティスト。
すべての作品はフリーハンドで作品に仕上げられ、鉄の素地が持つ色味や質感、自然・人工的な錆方など、隠れた部分に力量を注いでいる。
“鉄” という素材にこだわり、大阪を拠点にアイアン・アーティストとして幅広く活動を継続。90 年代から現在に至るまで、国内のアンダーグラウンドシーンにおけるカルチャー、ストリートシーン、ポップ・アートを引率し続けるひとりでもあり、メジャーシーンでは２０２５年大阪万博のオフィシャル・モニュメント製作作家に抜擢。

Born in 1972, from Osaka Prefecture.Grand Cobra is a metal artist who creates three-dimensional works using sheet metal, welding, and sculpting techniques, primarily focusing on iron materials. He skillfully manipulates iron, transforming inspiration into images with iron. His works pay attention to the colors and textures inherent in the raw iron material, and he puts effort into hidden aspects such as natural and artificial rust, finishing everything freehand. Based in Osaka, he continues his wide-ranging activities as an iron artist. Since the 1990s to the present, he has been a leading figure in Japan’s underground scene, guiding culture, street scenes, and pop art. Additionally, he was selected as the official monument maker for the 2025 Osaka Expo, and his work is currently installed in the heart of Osaka’ s Dotonbori.
