10年ぶりとなる本展では、日本人の生活に古くから根付く作法や習慣、そこに宿る美意識や理に目を向けました。

それらは曖昧でありながら、確かに受け継がれてきたDNAのようなものだと感じています。

本展では、それらを「made in japan.」と称し、その見えない輪郭を家具というかたちに置き換えています。

In this exhibition, held for the first time in a decade, we turn our attention to the customs and ways of living that have long been rooted in Japanese life.

Within them lies a quiet sense of beauty and logic—something subtle, almost intangible, yet undeniably passed down through generations, like a kind of cultural DNA.

We call this essence “made in japan.” and give form to its unseen contours through furniture.
