1990年代初頭にTOKYO Z-BOYZのメンバーとなりスケートボーダーとして活動。
1994年にはスケート、アート、音楽を融合主体とした多目的レーベルOWNを2008年まで運営。
90年代後期からストリートアートに没頭し、傍で雑誌やミュージシャンにアートワークを提供し始める。
2002年から本格的にアーティスト活動を開始。
後に大図実験やニューヨークを拠点とするアーティスト集団Barnstormersのメンバーとして活動を経る。
絵は独学。
偶発的な作品制作を好むため多くの作品が即興性で描かれている。
主にフリーハンドのラインをベースに多種多様な手法を用いてキャラクターやレタリングなど様々なモチーフを描き出す。
国内外での個展やグループ展等への出展のほか、ファッション、音楽、広告への作品提供など多方面で活動を行っている。

Born in Tokyo.
In the early 1990s, he became a member of TOKYO Z-BOYZ and was active as a skateboarder.
In 1994, he founded and ran the multi-purpose label OWN, which focused on the fusion of skateboarding, art, and music, until 2008.
By the late 1990s, he immersed himself in street art while also creating artwork for magazines and musicians.
In 2002, he began his career as a full-time artist. Later, he became a member of Daizu Jikken and the New York-based artist collective Barnstormers.
Self-taught in painting, he favors spontaneous creation, resulting in many of his works being improvised. His artistic style is primarily based on freehand lines, incorporating a wide range of techniques to depict various motifs, including characters and lettering.
He actively participates in solo and group exhibitions both in Japan and internationally. Beyond exhibitions, his work extends to collaborations in fashion, music, and advertising. work to fashion, music, and advertising projects.
HIROTTON (Artist / Painter)
1986年生まれ。
美術大学卒業後、英国ロンドンに渡る。
約４年間のアート活動を経て、2012年、日本に拠点を移し、現在のスタイルを確立する。
パンクシーン、スケートボードカルチャーに強い影響を受け、また生物、自然など身の周りの環境や、
politicalな内容を独自のフィルターを通し、作品に反映させ国内外問わず活動。
アメリカLAを拠点とするスケートカンパニーHeroin skateboardsからデッキシリーズのデザインを始め、
TOY MACHINEやCREATURE、VANS、PUMAへのアートワーク提供等、多くのデザインを担当。
個展も積極的に行い、自身のアパレルプロジェクトPARADOXもD.I.Y精神に基づき展開する。
Hiroyuki ‘ HIROTTON ’ Uemura was born in Japan in 1986.
A graduate of the Osaka university of Art , he moved to London for 4 years and has been working as a freelance designer for his own company ,‘ PARADOX ’.
Recently he created illustrations for Fashion , Print , Publishing ,
Skateboard brands and the Music industry.
He has also been doing screen printing.
His personal art work is influenced by punk , skate and street culture.
He is always inspired and excited by what’s happening around him and tries to capture that moment in his work, so others can understand and see life through his eyes.

1974年奄美産まれ
幼少の頃スケートボードのグラフィック、パンクのレコジャケに影響を受け絵を描き始める。
ZINEの作成、友達のバンドやDJなどのフライヤーやジャケットなどを手掛ける。
現在長野在住 TOCHKABOWL オーナー。

Born in 1974 in Amami, Japan
He was influenced by skateboard graphics and punk record jackets during his childwood, which led him to start drawing.
He created zines and worked on various projects such as flyers and album jackets for friends’ bands and DJs.
Currently, he lives in Nagano and doing the owner of TOCHKABOWL.

Yusuke Oshiba
90年代よりモデルとして活動。音楽活動は一旦休止し、今まで以上に絵の表現に集中。 ハードコアバンドのロゴやアパレルブランドへのイラスト提案、また2024年には長野県のフェスのタイトルを描く等、多くのフィールドで絵を描いている。
He has been active as a model since the 1990s. After pausing her music career, he is now focusing more than ever on artistic expression. His work spans various fields, including designing logos for hardcore bands, creating illustrations for apparel brands, and in 2024, lettering the title for a festival in Nagano Prefecture.
