きっと私たちが過ごすこの世界では“正義”はもう存在しない。
正義と悪は表裏一体、しかし根底では繋がっていたはずのその秩序たちが今や表面ギリギリまで顔をのぞかせ我々の目に見えるところまで如実にきている。
そんな非現実的な行為による利益が、生活の一部としてシステム化されているそんな誤った正義が普及している世の中において、改めてその正義について問いたい。

Perhaps in the world we live in, “justice” no longer exists.

Justice and evil have always been two sides of the same coin—once connected at their core, yet now that fragile order is breaking down, surfacing to a point where it becomes undeniably visible before us.

In a society where profits born from such distortions have been normalized and systematized into everyday life,a misguided sense of justice continues to spread.

Through this work, I seek to question what “justice” truly means today.

SHIMIZU DAIKI

大阪府岸和田市出身の現代建築の設計をバックボーンに持ち、2025年に旅をしたニューヨークでストリートアーティストや現代アーティストに大きく影響を受け、帰国後アート活動を開始。
同年10月ニューヨークの現代建築を描いた自身初めてとなる個展「Nowhere New York」をセルフプロデュースで開催し現在に至る。
建築的な造形感覚と芸術的な思考感覚で制作を行い、作品を通しての対話を目指す。
古典絵画技法と現代の融合作品や、旅のなかで出会った建築物を描く「Nowhere」シリーズ、社会的なモチーフを題材にした作品などを制作している。
目まぐるしく変化する現代社会の中で、様々なインプットとアウトプットを激しく繰り返すことで自身の作品も変化し続ける。

Daiki Shimizu is an artist from Kishiwada, Osaka, with a background in contemporary architectural design.

In 2025, a trip to New York exposed him to street artists and contemporary art, which led him to begin his artistic practice upon returning to Japan.

In October of the same year, he self-produced his first solo exhibition, “Nowhere New York,” featuring works inspired by contemporary architecture in New York.

Combining an architectural sense of form with an artistic way of thinking, his practice seeks to create dialogue through his works.

His body of work includes pieces that merge classical painting techniques with contemporary expression, the “Nowhere” series depicting architecture encountered during his travels, and works that engage with social themes.
